In June of 2000 I, along with other partners, opened a boutique labor and employment law practice after many years working for a national law firm. Early in our history a number of events, including the passing of a founding partner, caused us to look to outsource our administrative functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general bookkeeping. I was fortunate to have retained Donna Gary and her staff in early 2002. Donna stepped in during a difficult time and literally kept our office running while we sorted out a number of logistical changes over the next several years. In 2003 we decided to move locations to our current office on Capitol Mall. Donna and her staff literally administered a seamless move with virtually no down time between the change of locations. Furniture, mail, telephones, computer technology all were up and running with very little disruption in our service to our clients.
Over the next several years Donna and her staff took on added responsibility for our operations including taking over personnel matters, distribution of newsletters and other matters that supported our growing practice. Donna’s assistance has proven to be invaluable and has allowed me and the other attorneys in my office the additional time to do what we do best, service our clients. In 2006 we merged with another boutique employment law office. Donna and her staff assisted in another seamless transition. It is a pleasure working with Donna. Her personality is tailored to the interpersonal communications of a small office. Her staff is professional and competent. While we have considered resuming the administration of our office internally, the efficient, cost effective efforts of Donna and her staff has persuaded us to retain her services. I have nothing but the highest regard for Donna’s efforts and hope to enjoy a long-standing professional relationship with her.
